Leather is the primary component of the bag. It enhances the creative vision of the designer and the work of the craftswomen. The "hand" represents the main marker of quality. It defines its touch, malleability, hold and ability to follow the curves. The selection of calf leather is made exclusively from Italian tanneries that have been collaborating with the most beautiful houses for decades. These partner tanneries are recognized for their expertise in tanning and leather finishing, but also for their commitment to ecology and traceability.
EUROPEAN BREEDING FOR FOOD PRODUCTION
One of the criteria for the selection of our leather is that it comes from local farms producing exclusively for the food industry.
ENVIRONMENT AND TRACEABILITY
Our Italian tannery is LWG (Leather Working Group) certified, demonstrating its ability to meet 18 strict environmental criteria. The tannery is also equipped with a full range of processing equipment that significantly reduces the flows generated by its industrial activity.
The hides come exclusively from the food industry, with the skins being recycled and then transformed. Finally, the tannery obtains its supplies from precise European breeding farms, allowing for enhanced traceability.
